Jack Bauer

My time's up. Within 24 hours, I'll be sitting on a plane home. The mood may be more somber than the analogous one from Last King of Scotland though.

I've thrown all my stuff onto the bed now, thinking that it'll force me to get packing. After all, this way, I can't go to sleep before I've moved all my stuff into their respective suitcases. One piece at a time, that's all it takes. Put like that, it sounds so simple, doesn't it? Nonetheless, I've got my suspicions that I'm going to hate myself for this much later tonight, when I still haven't gotten off Facebook.

I've got even stronger suspicions that I'll end up sleeping on the couch today.

  1. I don't know if it helps, but don't see it as a goodbye, rather as a see you later...

hm, wrong time probably, but one question: Will you continue your blag back in norway? please say yes!! There are also Nile's in Bergen you know?! :D

And now get out of facebook and back into buganda life!!! ;)

    Have a safe trip home!

  2. Hehe... I'm sure it is, I've got to come back at some point, I think. Perhaps not in the nearest future, but sometime.

I think it might be best to end it soon after the trip, actually. I mean, I love writing, and I absolutely enjoy keeping this up. Still, coming to Uganda was a whole new world to me. I knew I'd see things that would be very interesting to write about - and I don't feel that I was wrong about that.

The idea is just to end it while my writing is still somewhat good. Ending with a bang :)

But not to worry, if you like hearing my stories, it's just a matter of keeping in touch... I'll be more than glad to share ;)

  3. I face somewhat the same affliction. When I travel somewhere, the bags get packed in a nice, folded and organized manner. On the journey home, they get tossed in a big pile and SHOVED into the nearest suitcase-like vessel.

  4. Yeah, "stuffing" is a good word to describe my current form of packing...

  6. I find the: "You made your bed, now sleep in it!" rather befitting.

Have a safe flight and see you soon!!! ^^
